Two decades of walking alongside children and families, rooted in the belief that every person is made in the image of God.

Our Story

From One Congregation to a Global Ministry

PK Christian Sponsors began in 2005 when a small congregation felt called to support a handful of children in a neighboring community facing extreme poverty. What started as a handful of sponsorships grew, through the faithfulness of ordinary families, into a ministry now serving tens of thousands of children across 34 countries.

We remain committed to our founding conviction: that lasting transformation happens through long-term relationship, local church partnership, and the good news of Jesus Christ — not through short-term aid alone.

Releasing Children From Poverty in Jesus' Name

Our vision is a world where every child, family, and community has the opportunity to experience the fullness of life found in Christ — free from the effects of poverty, spiritually rooted, and equipped to become the person God created them to be.

Compassion

We respond to need with the same tenderness Christ showed the vulnerable.

Faithfulness

We steward every gift with integrity and remain committed for the long term.

Partnership

We work through local churches and leaders, not around them.

We walk alongside families in ways that honor and empower, never diminish.

Statement of Faith

What We Believe

PK Christian Sponsors affirms the historic Christian faith: one God eternally existing in three persons; the Bible as God's inspired Word; salvation through faith in Jesus Christ alone; and the call of every believer to love God and love neighbor — including "the least of these" (Matthew 25:40).

Every program we run is offered without regard to a family's religion, and participation in any spiritual activity is always voluntary.

Our Journey

Milestones Along the Way

2005

A single congregation begins sponsoring 40 children in a partner community.

2011

PK Christian Sponsors becomes an independent 501(c)(3) and expands to 6 countries.

2016

Clean water and health initiatives launch alongside the sponsorship program.

2021

The 10,000th child is sponsored; community development programs begin.

2026

Now serving children and families across 34 countries with local church partners.
